Triangulum - Baltic Journal of German Philology

The „Triangulum“ was between 1994 and 2017 the major academic journal of German philology in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Supported by the DAAD, it allowed academics working on all aspects of German language, literature and related fields to publish their research in a peer-reviewed journal.

Since 2018, Triangulum has been discontinued. As part of a new DAAD strategy on supporting German philology around the world, it has been replaced by „Schnittstelle Germanistik“. Since 2021, this new journal provides a forum for academic papers, reviews and reports from the broader region of Eastern and Central Europe – “between Estonia and Bulgaria”.
