University of Tübingen: Summer School on European History and Challenges in Europe Today
The Summer School takes place from August 01 until August 30, 2024, at the University of Tübingen, Germany. The program offers you:
SUBJECT COURSES
Students can choose between two different Study Tracks taught in English – Track (A) “The EU in Permanent Crises? Perspectives, Challenges, Solutions” and Track (B) “Representing the European Past: Memory and Place-Making in Cross-Cultural Communities” Class sessions are highly interactive and combine both traditional and innovative teaching styles, including field trips and field research.
GERMAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
Students will attend a German language class as well as an intercultural workshop and will gain one of the key qualifications in a globalized world: Intercultural competence.
BUDDY PROGRAM
Students of the University of Tübingen support participants during the entire school. This will allow participants to get to know German students, and experience student life first-hand.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
The courses and excursions are complemented by an exciting cultural and social program.
The program fee is 1,950 € and covers accommodation in Tübingen, all courses and excursions, cultural and social activities, and a public transportation ticket.
