Baden-Wüttemberg Scholarship

With its Walter Hallstein Program, the Landesstiftung promotes Europe-related internships and study placements.

The scholarship for Europe-related internships is designed to enable university students and administration specialists from the reformed states in Central and Eastern Europe to gain insights into the administrative, legal and social structures of Baden-Württemberg and the European Union.
Particular support is offered to university students reading the subjects politics, economics, law and administration, and young vocationally qualified people from the public authorities of the Central and Eastern European states

Das Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg der Robert Bosch Stiftung und des MitOst e.V.
unterstützt junge Menschen aus über 30 Ländern Mittel-, Ost- und
Südosteuropas, Zentralasiens, des Südkaukasus und der Türkei beim
ehrenamtlichen Engagement. Im Rahmen der berufs- und studienbegleitenden
Ausbildung erwerben sie Kompetenzen im Bereich des internationalen
Projektmanagements und entwickeln selbst ehrenamtliche Projekte.

Bis zum 28. Februar 2010 hoffen wir auf Bewerbungen motivierter junger
Menschen zwischen 18 und 25 Jahren mit guten Deutschkenntnissen. Für das Kollegjahr 2010/11 bietet das Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg fünf Sommerseminare für engagierte und motivierte junge Menschen an. Neu in diesem Jahr im Kolleg ist die Konzeption eines bilingualen Sommerseminars zum Thema Vielfalt in deutscher und russischer Sprache. Vorraussetzung für die Teilnahme an diesem Seminar ist die Beherrschung einer der beiden
Sprachen. Für alle anderen Sommerseminare ist die Arbeitssprache Deutsch.

Study part-time, team up internationally!

Ulm University is launching the innovative international postgraduate Master Online Study Program Advanced Oncology. The modulated program aims at oncologists as well as employees of the pharmaceutical industry in the field of oncology.

Main topics of the modules are:

• Interdisciplinary Oncology
  Basic research, Diagnostics, Principles of Therapies, Epidemiology
• Clinical Research
  Biometry, Management of clinical trials, Ethical aspects of clinical trials
• Advanced and Integrated Therapies
  Clinical Oncology, Palliative Care, Psychooncology
• Management
  Business administration, Management of entities, Quality control, Health care systems
• Further certificates acquired within the program - ESMO, Clinical Investigator, GCP
• CME credit points (EACCME) available

After successful completion of the study program the Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) qualifies for leading positions in hospitals, academic organizations, cancer centers or in the pharmaceutical and health care industry.

The program is designed for a period of 4 semesters and includes four modules and two summer schools. Six attendance seminars support the formation of an international network between students. International experts and organizations are responsible for the learning content at the current state-of-the art. Intensive supervised E-learning allows timely and locally flexible learning.
